Random Picture Time
Jonathan

My brother turned 40 a couple of weeks ago. I went to my hometown for his surprise birthday party. This is my dad and my nephew, Drew, who is 20 years old now....unbelievable!
Mike and Melissa (who also celebrated her 40th birthday in March. Our family has December birthdays and they have March birthdays!)

My friend, Casey, and I took the kids downtown to take pictures last week. It was a beautiful day...but a bit too sunny for good pictures.

Sweet Nora surprised by the noon hour church bells

Here's Nora and Casey.

This one is just for you, Kristie!

15 months old

It's hard to believe it, but Benjamin is 15 months old. He is such a happy boy (when he's getting his way but can sure throw a temper tantrum when he isn't.) He love his "boys" (Henry and Jonathan), cars, and eating crayons and crackers of any kind. He tries to run but doesn't quite have the coordination to be successful. He is saying a few words but really just does a lot of jabbering. He is quite the climber, too He climbs the ladder to the slide by himself (with me behind him to catch just in case). Often, I'll find him on top of the kitchen table....eating.

At his 15 month apppointment, he weighed 23 lbs and 11 oz (25th percentile) and was 32 1/2 inches tall (95 percentile). The doctor said he wouldn't expect anything different - tall and skinny - just like the other two.

68 Degrees
68 degrees on Thursday
Snowing on Sunday
Supposed to be 72 degrees on Friday

Here's what we did on our 68 day. :)Olivia and the Elephant

The chimps were very friendly. I guess it was the beautiful weather. The kids were all quite shocked at how active they were. Jonathan's reflection in the glass tells the story better than I can.

Holly and Hosanna ~ Don't you just love their beautiful hair!?
