Camping
We went camping at Big Ridge State Park a couple of weeks ago. Overall, we had a great time. (There's nothing like being pregnant and and having to go to the bathroom three times in one night....)

For those who don't know . . .

I'm pregnant. I know this is old news to many of you, but I hadn't offically announced it here.

Baby #3 (yes, it's only one baby) is due in December. Also, for those who don't know or don't remember, I had severe pre-eclampsia when I was pregnant with the boys. So, the decision to have another child was made after much prayer and many visits to my nephrologist (kidney specialist).

Please pray that my blood pressure would stay normal and that other pre-eclampsia signs would stay away! You can learn more about pre-eclampsia at the link above. If you are pregnant, too, get used to me asking about your blood pressure!

Fun in the Sun
Kristie and her boys came over yesterday for some fun in the sun and water.

The three younger boys were a bit hesitant to join in the fun of dumping buckets of water on each other.


Henry decided to join in the fun as Jonathan and Gabe observed from a distance.

Congratulations Matt and Kathleen

Ok, I'm officially old. The oldest child of the family I babysat for eight years got married on Saturday. I'm still not used to calling him Matt instead of Matthew, and now he's a married man!
