Vacation Recap Vol. 3
We spent a morning at the South Carolina Aquarium. The boys loved seeing the fish and other animals. They weren't too thrilled with the Touch Tank. One picture shows Jonathan getting down (as fast as he could) as the man tried to get him to touch a sea aneome.

Attempt #3 at the beach....this time the bugs ate us up!

Vacation Recap Vol. 2

We visited the
Children's Museum of the Lowcountry, and the boys had a blast! They had lots of exibits for the boys to enjoy. Here's Jonathan enjoying the water room!

Here's Henry making his favorite letter,
H.

The museum had a pretend grocery store for the kids to enjoy! It reminded me of the early 90s gameshow, Supermarket Sweep!

We enjoyed a yummy dinner at
Sticky Fingers downtown.

Vacation Recap Vol. 1

Henry did a good job trying to entertain himself on the long drive. The boys did GREAT on the trip down.

You'll never guess who we saw at McDonald's in Chapin, South Carolina - 200 miles away from home - our friends, Tom and Heidi and their family. They were returning home from Hilton Head as we were heading to Charleston. It was completely unplanned. I even wondered a few times where they might be on their trip home. The picture on the right is of Jonathan and Marshall playing on the playground.

The Boys' First Glimpse of the Ocean
We visited the
Morris Island Lighthouse at the end of Folly Beach. The light house is in horrible condition and the land under it is slowly eroding away. From what we've learned, there used to be 15 buildings beside the light house and now it's just the lighthouse, and it used to be on the shore and now it's in the middle of the ocean. You can read more about the history of the Morris Island Lighthouse at the link above.

What I Just Overheard

Henry: **Growling like a tiger**
Jonathan: "No Henry! That make me sad! Make me happy!"

More Silly Boys

Jonathan was singing his version of "The Wheels on the Bus." The wheels on the bus go round and round and round and round and round and round....

Our vacation is just around the corner. I was wondering if anyone local had something like this we could borrow:

or just something like this for the beach:

Potty Training the "Puppies"
I thought we'd start off potty training the puppies. (I know that the yellow "puppy" really isn't a puppy. But Henry calls him that!) Jonathan has named is puppy "One." I'm not sure why. Maybe because all his life he has been Thing 2 and Baby B...maybe God's trying to reveal some pride in his heart. Henry changes his puppy's name on a daily basis. We've heard names like "Two" and "Nacho."
We got these "puppies" at Kohl's. They usually have a $5 stuffed animal deal all the time with a matching book. The two above are from
Go, Dog, Go! and
Put Me in the Zoo.

Travis and Nicole come to town
Our friends, Travis and Nicole, came to town this weekend to visit. We hadn't seen them in almost three years....oh, how things have changed.
Here's some pictures from a cook-out on Sunday at Tim and Alexis' house.

Travis and Joshua

Three sets of Twins
Henry (2 1/2), Abigail(almost 4), Jonathan (2 1/2), Victoria (almost 4), McKinley (2 1/2) and Ian (2 1/2) - I've been trying to get this picture since the boys were born. The other two sets belong to my friend, Honey. They are 14 months apart. That's the best picture I could come up with....trying to get six little kids to be still for a picture is quite difficult. These three sets of twins are among eight sets of twins in our church that are under the age of 16. (Two families have two sets each!)

Abigail is taking care of her little brother, Ian!

Jonathan, Henry, Mason and Katie enjoying some ice cream
Jonathan, the Daredevil!
