Random Pictures

I'm a little behind on posting pictures. I've taken a lot of pictures over the past couple of months.....it's time to update. So, without further ado:

The boys built a truck tower. Do you like the leftover lunch faces?

Andy and Ida got married!

We went to the zoo with Kristie and Katie. We ran into Honey there, too.

The picture above requires a little explanation. The Red Hogs were missing from their home....the children were looking for them under the deck.

(Kristie, I love this picture! I somehow captured all four of your boys running in one shot.)

Ada and Parks came by to visit while their parents went to see "Cats."

My Aunt Dot and Uncle Bob stopped by on their way back to Alabama for a quick visit. My nephew, Drew, came by to see them also.

We snuck (is that really a word?) into our friends' yard to take the picture below primarily to get a comment out of her on the blog. She's a faithful reader, but never comments. We might have to make this a fun little game......anyone recognize this location?

Benjamin's Evening Out
Last night I had to practice the music for a wedding that I am singing in, and Benjamin got to come along for the ride. It was at Joe and Janet's house who both enjoyed entertaining Benjamin. Their son, Casey, aka pianoman extrodianire, and Marwan and I will be doing the music at for Andy and Ida's wedding on Saturday. Here's some fun pictures from the evening.

Here's Casey trying to get a smile out of Benjamin.

Here's Janet and Benjamin

"Where Have All the Sockies Gone?"
To be sung to the tune of "Where have all the flower gone"

Where have all the sockies gone

I can't find them

Where have all the sockies gone

Our feet are cold

Where have all the sockies gone

Oh, I found them

Where have all the sockies gone

Behind Jonathan's bed

I noticed last week that we were missing socks. We were down to just a few pairs, and I knew there were lots more. After doing some searching, here's what I found behind Jonathan's bed:

24 SOCKS

We've had an interesting day here. I spent the morning getting oriented on how our county legal system works...that's right. I got the call for jury duty. I was able to be excused because I'm a stay at home mom and have a nursing infant. Then while we were trying to get ready to take Benjamin to the doctor for a follow-up visit because of severe congestion, coughing, etc (I was concerned it was RSV - which it wasn't), Jonathan decided to use the white board/chalkboard (that also serves as a cover to our Lego table) as a slide. He slid right into the computer desk and pulled of a nice chunk of his gum, and now has two (slightly) loose teeth and a nasty looking gumline. Dr. Glover said that gums heal very quickly and that his teeth shouldn't be loose for too long.....I'll try again tomorrow to get a picture for those who are brave enough to see it. It's pretty gross.
