New Camera
My generous husband allowed me to get a new digital SLR camera (throwing in his birthday money, too). I've been using it for a few days now trying to get the hang of it. I know I'm no Ansel Adams, but here's my first shots.

I'd love some photography tips (Lillian, Michelle, Kelli)! I have A LOT to learn. I'm hoping to take a photography class in the future.

Fun with Friends
Our friends came over to visit last week....I was still enjoying playing with Johanna's camera. Here's some shots of their visit.

6 Month Portraits Preview
My friend, Casey, and I took the kids to the UT Gardens today to take portraits of the babies.

I've titled this one - "I can't take any more, Mommy!"

More to come....

6 months old

Benjamin is six months old today. He had his check-up yesterday. He weighs in at 17 lbs 3 oz and is 26 3/4 inches long. He started officially sitting up without support yesteday. He's been doing the "tripod" sit for a while (even though my skeptics disagree). He loves to laugh at Henry and Jonathan. He's also very fond of toys. His top two teeth aren't quite ready to show themselves, but I bet we'll see them in a few weeks.
It's so strange having a full-term baby. I feel like he's a genius because he does things so much earlier than the other two....I was flabbergasted when he rolled over at 3 1/2 months. (The other two were six months when they rolled over, etc.) Then I come to find out that he's developmentally on track. I guess he's just a normal baby.

Gabe's Birthday Party
Our friend Gabe had a fun birthday party last week. The boys had a blast! Kristie (Gabe's mom) did a great job planning games and activities. Our boys have lots of summer birthday friends. We've been to one party already in June and we have three more to go.

The kids went on a bug hunt. I found the biggest bug of all! BBug!

Three Boys in their PJs

Benjamin still loves his mobile. He's now able to reach it so it's time to drop the crip down a level.

Toys, Toys and More Toys

Benjamin has been a bit fussy and discontent lately. I think he's cutting more teeth. The boys were trying to help him be happier. So they brought him every "baby" toy they could find. They are so sweet to him!
