Hardwood Floors

Here's Rob laying the first row of hardwood.

For anyone who has done this job, you know it's quite time consuming. We are hoping to finish up the living room/dining room by tomorrow. The foyer will have to come later. . . .

Shambles

Our living room is in shambles, and I couldn't be happier. After many months of discussing the plans, we are planning to lay hardwood floors in our living room/dining room this weekend. Rob's mom is going to keep the boys all day on Saturday so we can get a good start on the project.

It's amazing what a little paint will do!
When we bought our house over two years ago, my least favorite features were the white shutters and door. Last week Rob spent several hours drastically changing the look of our house with black paint and "Drum Beat" red paint. We still need to paint the porch and other trim.
