Six of My Favorite People
I'd like to introduce you six of my favorite people - the ladies in my care group. Our group is extremely close. I've never been involved in a care group where members' hearts are so knit together. We love each other so much and have a great time being together!

Left to Right - Johanna, Shelley, Amy, Kelli, me, Melanie, and Casey

At a recent care group meeting, Benjamin was having a very difficult time - constant crying - well, screaming - for over an hour. Rob was working late so he wasn't there to help. I didn't want to leave because the older two were so excited to be there. So, I left the room to try to calm down Benjamin, but he kept on screaming. All these ladies (and later their husbands) sprang into action to help me. Casey warmed the bottle and got his car seat. Melanie walked around in the front yard with Benjamin trying to calm him down. Amy (the constant encourager) reminded me that everything would be ok and that it was no big deal that Benjamin was disrupting the entire meeting. Johanna tried to help, but no one would let her because she was about to pop (i.e. have Baby Tulli). Shelley cleaned up my older son who had peed all over her bathroom floor and himself while Kelli stayed outside to watch the other kids. All of this while the meeting was in progress.

I love you, ladies!!

Mexico Mission Trip
If you are from our church you know that a group of teenagers, their parents and a group of singles from our church are on a mission trip to Rancho 3m Orphange and Christian School in Mexico until Saturday. They have a blog with great pictures from the trip! Check it out here!

Marriage Retreat
Our church had a marriage retreat in Chattanooga this past weekend. It was a wonderful time of instruction, encouragement, and fun.

Robert and Amy - They are expecting their first child, a little girl, in July! We're not sure if those are sympathy pounds on Robert or if he's sticking out his gut.

The Local Church in Action!
This is a fun story of our local church in action.

Today, I was experiencing car trouble. After calling Chandra, who has a three week old and two other kids under three, to come to my rescue (she's the only friend I have who's vehicle can hold 5 car seats) I called our church to get the phone number for the
Volunteers for Christ House (our campus ministry) since I knew it was only two blocks away. I was given an intern's cell number. Todd (whom I had never met) graciously came to my rescue. Todd toted two car seats while I pushed the boys in the stroller to the VFC House where we were to meet Chandra. At the VFC House we were greeted by three college guys who entertained the boys by reading a story, playing the guitar, and giving them chocolate while we waited for Chandra. I am grateful for the young guys and their desire to serve even a mother of two pre-schoolers! Thanks Todd, Jeff, Jeremy, and Marko!

Help!
I am teaching the first graders on Sunday (Christmas Eve) without a curriculum. You'd think after teaching elementary school for 9 years that I could come up with something, but I've never had the opportunity to teach the REAL Christmas Story since I taught in a public school. If you have any ideas for a great God-centered lesson and craft, send them my way. My creativity tank is empty!
