New Camera
My generous husband allowed me to get a new digital SLR camera (throwing in his birthday money, too). I've been using it for a few days now trying to get the hang of it. I know I'm no Ansel Adams, but here's my first shots.

I'd love some photography tips (Lillian, Michelle, Kelli)! I have A LOT to learn. I'm hoping to take a photography class in the future.

8 Weeks Old

Benjamin is 8 weeks old today, and he's growing like a weed. He has moved into some 3-6 month clothes. He's smiling and cooing a lot, and he rolled over yesterday, but I think it was a fluke. I think I had his arm in just the right position for momentum. He loves to watch his big brothers. We are enjoying every minute with him!

Learning about My Camera
I am really clueless when it come to how and why my camera works the way it does. So, I invited a young mom from church, Priscilla, over yesterday to help me learn a few things. She was very helpful in helping me understand what I need to do to take better pictures. The boys were very cooperataive subjects. (I was surprised!) So if you have cooperative subjects, bring 'em on over. I will take all the guinea pigs I can get.
